SR8 Scores Class Win In Merdeka Millennium Endurance Race

The Fugazi Racing Radical SR8 proved its worth in Malaysia’s toughest endurance event, the Merdeka Millennium Endurance Race, finishing first in class and sixth overall. Competing against much larger machinery during the 12-hour race, the car proved both reliable and fast, completing a total of 284 laps around the Sepang International Circuit at the hands of Wira Dani, Faisal Zelman and former F1 driver Alex Yoong. With a best lap time of 2m 11.151s, the team finished over five laps ahead of the next car, and seven laps ahead of second in class A1, as well as beating larger capacity cars, including Moslers and Aston Martins.
