Radical's Christmas Wish Granted
24th December 2010
Radical’s Peterborough factory and offices will close at midday on Christmas Eve for the festive season, returning on Tuesday 4 January 2011. However, before then there’s exciting news on progress of the 2011 Radical UK Cup and Radical Clubman’s Cup. Exciting developments to next year’s series mean that, even at this early stage, 21 UK Cup and 27 Clubman’s Cup teams have already applied to compete next year.
The latest confirmation is the Supersports class pairing of 2008 Clubman’s Cup Champion Jonathan Wright and Tom Ashton, no doubt a formidable partnership in their new SR3 RS next year. Radical also welcomes Radical Masters regular Jamie Patterson back to the UK Cup in a works-run SR8, with his brother Don competing in a works SR3 RS.
Radical now looks forward to the Autosport International Show, held at the NEC, Birmingham on 13-16 January 2011. Radical will be launching the new SR3 SL at 10am on Thursday 13 January, along with the rest of the 2011 range, including the revised SR3 RS and SR8 RX. Information on Radical’s growing international racing scene will also be available. For more information on the show, click here.
Also, don't forget to look out for the Radical SRZero electric prototype's appearance in a new series of documentaries, commencing on New Year's Day on BBC World News at 20:30 GMT. Episodes will then be aired every following Saturday at the same time. Click here for the series trailer.
All that remains is to wish all Radical racers, owners and followers a very Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year; see you in 2011!
